The St Andrews Wardlaw Scholarship scheme was established in 2004 to provide financial assistance for academically gifted students who would otherwise struggle with the cost of studying at the University of St Andrews. The Scholarships provide assistance with the cost of accommodation, and awards are based on financial need, although some are also specific to geography or subject. They allow the recipients the freedom to concentrate on achieving a world-class education, and to make the most of their St Andrews experience. To date, over £2.6m has been raised, 129 undergraduate students have received vital support and almost 80 Wardlaw Scholars have graduated from the University.

Sergei Grinko

Another of Milan’s up-and-coming designers, Sergei Grinko seeks to combine elegance with 3D effects in his sophisticated collections.

21^st Century Kilts

21^st Century Kilts provides a unique twist on traditional Scottish style. Using a variety of materials such as denim, leather and gold, these kilts are a perfect contemporary update to an iconic Scottish garment.

Kenji Kawasumi

Emerging new designer Kenji Kawasumi provides a refreshing youthful and colourful aspect to the FS catwalk with a modern spin on classic separates.

Timothy Everest

With recognition from Her Majesty the Queen for his services to tailoring, Everest’s “quintessentially British” clothing consists of true investment pieces; it’s all in the handmade little details.

Goldie of London

 With its origins in London’s Portobello and Spitalfield markets, Goldie London has grown into a global label consisting of versatile, fashion-forward pieces with a slight edge, perfect for the FS catwalk.

East Club Limited

Menswear designers East Club Limited fuses classic English design with influences from the Far East to create casual and formal collections with a contemporary twist on timeless design.

Joseph Abboud

Abboud launched his own eponymous label in 1987 — specialising in tailored men’s clothing and sportswear marked by clean, classic lines. Before long Abboud became a key player in the American menswear scene, crafting smart mens tailoring. Look out for this iconic American designer on the catwalk at FS2013

Patouf

Patouf is a Swedish clothing label created by Anna Angseryd. This brand moves in the borderland between escapism and reality, cynicism and romance and in 2009, Patouf was awarded the title Rookie of the Year by the Swedish Fashion council.

Aus Dem

AUS DEM, created in 2010, is a conjunction between Gianmarco Giacometti and Sara De Poli that met during their studies in Fashion Design at IUAV in Venice. Their artwork is a mix of tradition, research, identity, testing and quality. With a range comprising both outerwear and accessories in heavy leathers, nylon and fur with a pre-apocalyptic feel, look out for this distinctive look in the FS 2013 show

D.S. Dundee

Launched in 2007 by Jim Pickles and Ollie Piltshire, this men’s brand is well suited to our Scottish setting with its collections of tweed and tailored outerwear. What’s more, they have made a point of always working with British mills and encouraging British manufacturing.

MLTV

This swedish men’s brand, founded last year by Anna Sjunnesson, adds a contemporary, urban feel to the FS 2013 catwalk.

Bellaobastian

‘Inspired by a time when the cold required layers of garments and when poverty brought inheritance of clothing,’ this Swedish brand strives for the longevity of their clothes through their versatility. ‘A fling with the past’; to be worn every day.

Issa London

Issa was founded by designer Daniella Helayel in 2006. With trademark distinctive prints, combined with vibrant and dazzling colours, the most recent collection evokes thoughts of the tropics and sunshine. Watch out for a sample of Issa S/S13 on the FS 2013 catwalk.

Felicity Brown

The Felicity Brown label, founded by the brother and sister duo in 2010, is supported by the British Fashion Council and a member of their elite ‘New Generation’ designers. Known for her intricate ruffles and feminine layering, her S/S11 dresses, with their ethereal qualities, suited the setting of our ‘Fairytale Wonderland’ themed photo shoot beautifully.

Tommy Hilfiger

We are lucky to have two looks from this classic American brand on the FS catwalk this year. Sophisticated in their simplicity; his preppy designs have been toasted as a household name for more than 25 years.
